building new castles every day

If you’re downtown Vancouver, having been stuffed up in an office for the whole morning and knowing that the sun is at its finest, I recommend heading to Cathedral Square and eating your lunch by this little man-made body of water.

Choose a sunny spot on the grass or a nice perch in the shade from the trees. I personally like the company of the 110-year old Holy Rosary Cathedral across Dunsmuir Street.

The park is a haven for socializing ESL students and the corporate suit-type seeking some quiet fresh air. Oh, and these cheeky buggers.
